Farewell

I’m supposed to write a farewell message to my teammates.

Every time I try, I just start crying.

Eventually, I’ll write it. But just not yet.

Right now, I’m very busy. I’m working.

There’s so much to fix. Better to focus on that instead.

So much is going right in my life. So much good and so much sad.

The restructuring was a good decision for the company.

But a painful decision for the people.

But we say the company is the people.

I guess the people that remain.

I feel like I betrayed my friends.

I haven’t spoken to Taru this week.

I keep asking how she’s doing, as if a different answer will come.

I promised Fado I’ll reach out.

I told Sattar we’ll see.

I don’t know if I’m lying again.
