30 days of posting

Princess is posting daily vlogs for the next thirty days over on TikTok, so I’m going to blog too. And what a day to start.

I crashed at the ATL airport overnight. Five hour delay from Lagos cascaded into a series of events that found me travelling for almost 24 hours. I expected this but also forgot my sweater. Much regret.

Anyway, the whole trip has me writing again. I struggle to write in Lagos I find. It feels too close, too exposed. I’m also too distracted.

Travel lets me focus. I’ve come to like these solo flights. It’s like time suspended between realities - like a transformation. I come out at the other side a new man, a foreign colleague, an interesting stranger.
