A few years ago, I started writing a book I never did finish. It was called “A Theory of Work”. The idea was to distill everything I know about organising teams into one place. The first chapter was about people and how work is fundamentally about humans: collaboration, sustenance, community, ambition. In the world of LLMs, it’s interesting to revisit that idea.
